january is over
Well, one month gone already. Still in pandemic mode. Says that over 95k people died in January from covid (or related). Hospitalizations and infections are still so high here but no one cares anymore. I get that people want to get back to normal and all that but this will be "normal" if we don't change. We'll be wearing masks forever at this point.
Cookies kept me busy again, as we have now concluded week 2. Today we are supposed to find out about lottery for HS. We did move up one spot to 30 on the 2nd choice school. Saturday we did get to go hiking on North Mountain (new one for us) with J's buddy from GS camp and her mom. We went for ortho last week and I was kind of put off when I said I wasn't planning on starting treatment that day. Like I'm ready to shell out money. So we are doing a 2nd consult this week. Just want to see where their price falls. Using the same ortho would of course be convenient, but this one is still close so if I save some money then that's better! Fingers crossed they get the Pebt cards reinstated. That was a lifesaver this past summer. Working on month stuff today plus I do have to get tax stuff together. Still did zero yoga.. It sucks. I always get pushed or pulled another way. Did get through emails and did a couple more applications last week.
