December 30, 2003 - 4:36 am so it is very early in the morning & I can't sleep. jay liked his christmas present, but he knew what it was cuz he snooped on ebay to see what i bought. he also got me a chia frog and a new shiftknob for my car. didn't do too much over the weekend. did a little shopping friday, some running around on saturday and he changed the oil in the car on sunday. sunday we saw lord of the rings. very good- very long though. yesterday i went to the dr at 1220 and was there until 330, mostly waiting the whole time. turns out i have pink eye, so when i went back to work, my boss sent me home. the pharmacist said that i probably shouldnt go to work cuz it might still be contagious but the doctor said that i caught it before it really got bad so it's probably not. i'm going to go to work anyway because i don't really feel like being home and besides, this week is dead. our new housemate kevin moved in saturday night. it is going to be a very hard adjustment. its not 'our' house anymore. it's very weird. in fact the reason why i can't sleep is because it's too damn hot in here because someone turned the heat up. and this month is my month to pay the gas/electric bill. so i'm a little annoyed already. i really hope to have enough saved to put money on a house or a condo or something by the end of next year. between his sister who says every other day that she's kicking that guy john out, the undisciplined children and now kevin, i don't think i could stand more than a year of this place. i don't know how much my bonus checks are going to be, but i'm going to start some growth fund or ira or something for them. archery instructor aka wonderwoman - September 25, 2017 |
